Graphic Designer

Description:

MCG Strategic is currently seeking a talented graphic designer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be expected to utilize their talents by contributing to projects such as brand identity, creative campaigns, digital and print projects for a variety of clients in various industries. There will be the opportunity to concept individually as well as collaborate collectively on creative concepts. We believe that solid design is not limited to one vehicle, the ideal candidate should be able to execute concepts across various media types with brand consistency. This is a remote, full-time, contract-to-hire position with the possibility of being on-site in the future if near South Jersey/Philadelphia, if desired.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or creative arts
  • Minimum three (3) years proven agency experience
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating ability

Essential Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to design both digital (websites, mobile apps) and print materials (catalogs, postcards, business cards, trade show signage, etc.)
  • Demonstrates creative thinking and concepting ability
  • Passion for design and a keen eye for aesthetics, typography, proportions and visual balance
  • Ability to clearly communicate the reasoning behind design choices
  • Comfortable working collaboratively and independently
  • Accurately estimates and scopes project tasks
  • Manages time efficiently
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize creative and visual graphics based on requirements
  • Work with creative director, independently, and with other designers to produce final products
  • Ensure work is engaging, visually appealing and on brand
  • Communicate closely with Project Manager to meet deadlines and project objectives within scope
