Hachik Pool & Spa Distributors—a family-owned, 90-year-old business—was ready for a change. Playing in a sea of blue, Hachik believed it was time to stand out from their competition. Drawing inspiration from a summertime palette and a strong customer service message, MCG evolved the Hachik brand across all marketing initiatives. As a result of new trade show booths, B2B advertising, a redesigned product ordering system called DealerZone, and an interactive sales support application, Hachik quickly gained attention of customers and competition alike. After decades in the business, they definitely made a big splash.

Hachik engaged MCG Strategic to re-architect DealerZone, a web-based B2B commerce platform that was long overdue for a modern upgrade. MCG Strategic analyzed their existing system and designed a solution that would decouple the user interface from an older but irreplaceable ERP system, and allow for efficient extensibility, all while embracing modern user-interface and application design conventions. By building a middle-tier data translation engine, MCG Strategic was able to create a new, modern user experience and rapidly deploy a the new commerce system while retaining their existing internal processes.
